Miracles Really Do Happen Everyday

So, this day started out really crappy. I called my parents and they told me that they were going to take her to the vet and have to put her down. She stopped eating and drinking and they thought the cancer had spread to her liver. I was a mess all day and was waiting for the dreaded call from my dad. I finally called him around 3pm and he said they were taking her in soon. So, apparently when they took her in the vet said they wanted to run one more test to make sure they were making the right choice. Well, they did...and she is cancer free. This dog is a miracle! She was diagnosed with cancer when I was a sophomore in high school and given six months to live. It's six years later she is still here and now cancer free. She does have a liver disease but it is treatable. She is fourteen years old and still alive and kicking. I can't believe it.
