It Wouldn't be Christmas without....
A lot of drama. My dad started having pains right below his ribcage and couldn't breath very well. So, we took him to the ER and he got worse in the car because the only hospital close to us is about twenty minutes away. My mom called 911 in the car and they called the hospital to warn them we were coming. They took him in right away which was good. At first they tought that it was his heart. Luckily it is not his heart. He has gallbladder disease and an inflamed pancreas. He has to have his gallbladder removed but they have to wait until his pancreas is less inflamed before they can do it. So, hopefully they can do the surgery tomorrow. The doctors implied that he would be okay when everything was over. So, that's the good news. It's been a stressful day so I am going to go to bed now.

i'm really sorry to hear about your dad. lucky he's still kicking for christmas. :) mom had hers removed a few years ago and milked that one for footrubs and all the good stuff. i asked her and she said she's felt 'lighter' but there's no other difference, other than she's short a gallbladder, of course. :) call if you need ANYTHING!
